SCENE 01 / MULTI CAMERA SETUPS

Multi-Camera Setups

Professional live event coverage and multi-camera production across Mexico.

Scroll

Here is how this works in practice. Multi-camera setups deploy two or more cameras at once to capture full coverage of scenes, events, or performances. From concerts at Foro Sol and Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City to Vive Latino festival broadcasts, this way maximizes shooting efficiency, preserves performance scene matching, and gives editors with many angles from each take.

Here is the short of it. We set up multi-camera configurations with matched camera bodies, synchronized settings, and integrated monitor kit across Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Cancún. Our team works alongside the broadcast infrastructure connected to Estudios Churubusco. Latin America's largest studio — and Baja Studios, leveraging Mexico's strong Televisa and TV Azteca broadcasting tradition.

Multi-camera setups across Mexico — OB-truck network covering Foro Sol, Auditorio Nacional, Arena México, Estadio Azteca — TelevisaUnivision and TV Azteca host-broadcast partnership

Here is how this works in practice. We set up multi-camera setups across Mexico through TelevisaUnivision (Latin America's largest media operator), TV Azteca, OCESA (concert + arena promoter), and FOM-affiliated host-broadcast partners for major-event capture. Standard rigs run 8 to 32+ Sony HDC-3500, HDC-P50, Grass Valley LDX 86 / 100, Panasonic AK-UC4000. Plus pan/tilt robotic Sony BRC-X1000 and Panasonic AW-UE160 for stage-front and audience-overhead coverage. OB trucks: TV Azteca Mobile Unit 1 + 2 (16-camera 4K), Televisa San Ángel UM-7 + UM-8 (24-camera 4K HDR), ESPN LatAm Mexico OB unit. Plus FOM-spec host-broadcast units flown in for F1 Mexico GP. Switching runs Sony MVS-7000X / 8000X and Grass Valley Kayenne / Karrera. EVS XT-VIA + XT4K replay servers for sports.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Major-event coverage in Mexico spans F1 Mexico City Grand Prix at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (annual since 2015. Sergio 'Checo' Pérez hometown crowd), Liga MX matches at Estadio Azteca (FIFA World Cup 1970 + 1986 host, 2026 co-host with US/Canada), Estadio Jalisco (Guadalajara — Chivas), and Estadio BBVA (Monterrey — Rayados), NFL Mexico City regular-season games, NASCAR Peraltada heritage corner, MLB Mexico Series at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú, Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez boxing megafights (DAZN + Top Boxing Champions PPV), Lucha Libre at Arena México + Arena Coliseo (CMLL Friday nights + AAA Triplemanía PPV).

Here is how the picture comes together. On the ground, Concert multi-cam: Vive Latino + Corona Capital at Foro Sol (OCESA flagship), Auditorio Nacional national tours, Festival Internacional Cervantino Guanajuato (since 1972), Tecate Pa'l Norte Monterrey. Cultural events: AMACC Ariel Awards (since 1947), Día de Muertos UNESCO Intangible 2008 parades. IFT range planning, STIC + STPC union, IMSS workers-comp, ATA carnet (SAT/Aduanas).

FAQ

Live Production Expertise

How many cameras can you deploy?

Here is the breakdown. We often operate setups from 3 to 12+ cameras based on event scale. For major concerts at Foro Sol or fútbol broadcasts at Estadio Azteca, we can deploy extensive camera packages including specialty positions like jibs, roving cameras, and POV units.

Do you provide live switching and direction?

Yes, our multi-camera packages have skilled vision mixers and directors who switch between cameras in real-time, creating a polished live edit. We can deliver a switched program feed, ISO recordings, or both.

Can you live stream our event?

Yes, we give complete live streaming services including encoding, CDN delivery, and platform management for YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, or custom platforms. We can also give satellite uplink for broadcast.

What about IMAG for live audiences?

We give IMAG (Image Magnification) services for concerts and events, feeding live camera coverage to venue screens so audiences can see close-ups of performers and speakers.

Do you have OB van facilities?

We work with pro OB (Outside Broadcast) vans equipped with switching desks, tracking, audio mixing, and all needed infrastructure. Mexico's strong telenovela and sports broadcast tradition supports a deep OB van fleet.

How far in advance should we book?

For major events, we recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead to make sure gear availability and proper planning. Smaller multi-camera shoots can often be arranged with 1-2 weeks notice.

Productions in Mexico that need this often pair it with Live Streaming, Virtual Reality Filming, and Volumetric Capture for full coverage. Most projects also draw on Competition & Reality Show Production and Multi-Camera Shoots.
