SCENE 01 / MULTI CAMERA SHOOTS
Multi-Camera Production Services
Professional multi-cam crews and equipment for live events, TV production, and complex shoots across Mexico.
Here is how this works in practice. Multi-camera shoots employ two or more cameras at once to capture scenes from many angles, maximizing coverage and preserving performance scene matching. From major broadcasts at Televisa's San Ángel studios in Mexico City to live events at Guadalajara's Auditorio Telmex, this way is standard for interviews, live events, dialogue scenes, and any situation where repeated takes are impractical or impossible.
Here is the short of it. We give multi-camera setups scaled to your production's needs, setting up matching camera bodies, lenses, and monitor kit. Working with Mexico's extensive production infrastructure including Estudios Churubusco and TV Azteca facilities in Mexico City, our team makes sure seamless tech integration between all cameras, giving your director and editor full coverage from each angle.

Multi-camera production across Foro Sol, Auditorio Nacional, Arena Ciudad de México, and Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez — OCESA partner network, F1 Mexico GP, Vive Latino, telenovela pickups
Here is how this works in practice. We set up multi-camera shoots across Mexico's largest live-event venues through OCESA (Latin America's largest live-events operator, owner of Foro Sol 65,000-capacity, Palacio de los Deportes, Auditorio Nacional, and Pepsi Center WTC), TV Azteca Ajusco, and Televisa San Ángel (largest Spanish-language studio in the world). Concert capture runs Sony HDC-3500, HDC-P50, Grass Valley LDX, and Panasonic AK-UC4000 4K UHD systems on EVS XT-VIA servers feeding Sony MVS or Grass Valley Kayenne switchers in OB trucks.
Here is the breakdown. On the ground, F1 Mexico City Grand Prix at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (annual since 2015. Sergio 'Checo' Pérez hometown crowd) routes through FOM's host-broadcast unit with our local roster supplementing world-feed crews. Vive Latino, Corona Capital, Festival Internacional Cervantino Guanajuato (since 1972), and Tecate Pa'l Norte Monterrey draw the same multi-cam roster as the telenovela day-shoots at Televisa, TV Azteca, and Argos Comunicación that built Mexico's deepest multi-cam bench in Latin America.
Here is the short of it. Sports multi-cam in Mexico has Liga MX matches (Club América, Chivas, Pumas UNAM, Cruz Azul, Tigres UANL), NFL Mexico City games at Estadio Azteca (1970 + 1986 FIFA World Cup host, 2026 co-host alongside US and Canada), MLB Mexico Series at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú, and Lucha Libre at Arena México and Arena Coliseo CDMX (CMLL and AAA promotions). Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez boxing megafights have run multi-cam feeds from Guadalajara and CDMX venues.
Here is what that looks like on the ground. On the ground, Cultural multi-cam captures Day of the Dead (UNESCO Intangible 2008) at Janitzio, Mixquic, and Pátzcuaro, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán (UNESCO Intangible Mariachi 2011 — oldest est. 1897) concert specials, and Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) red-carpet livestreams. Broadcast deliveries conform to Mexican IFT spec, ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV standards aligned with US/Canada under USMCA, and streaming pickup at Vix (TelevisaUnivision LatAm SVOD HQ'd in CDMX), Netflix LatAm, Star+, and Disney+ LatAm.
FAQ
Technical Capabilities
How many cameras can you deploy for multi-cam productions?
We often deploy 3-12 camera setups and can scale beyond for major events. Standard configurations have 3-camera interview setups, 5-7 camera corporate events, and 8-12+ camera concert and live show shoots.
Do you provide live switching or ISO recording?
We give both. Live switching gives real-time edited output for streaming or IMAG. ISO recording captures each camera independently for post-prod flexibility. Most shoots use a combination of both ways.
Can you integrate with existing venue systems?
Yes. Our tech teams are skilled in interfacing with venue audio systems, house lighting, existing video infrastructure, and broadcast facilities. We conduct tech surveys to plan integration needs.
What's included in multi-cam production packages?
Packages mostly have cameras, operators, vision mixer/director, tech manager, tracking, comms, cabling, and recording/switching gear. Audio, lighting, and streaming are ready as additions based on venue needs.
How much setup time is required for multi-cam productions?
Setup time differs by complexity: 3-4 cameras mostly need 3-4 hours, 5-7 cameras need 4-6 hours, and 8+ camera setups may need a full day. We always have time for tech rehearsal before going live.
Can you provide live streaming alongside multi-cam recording?
Fully. We give integrated streaming solutions to platforms including YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, LinkedIn, and custom RTMP destinations. Multi-bitrate encoding and CDN distribution ready for large audiences.
