With surface inventories tuned for everything from Buñuel-era stone-floor interiors to today's urban exteriors), Lemon Studios' current stage (where Cuarón's Roma foley was performed for the Skywalker mix), and Sensaciones Sónicas's smaller boutique room for episodic and dubbing work.
On the ground, Foley walkers and prop artists work to picture in Pro Tools sessions captured through Schoeps CMC6 + MK41 or Sennheiser MKH 50 cardioids into Avid MTRX preamps, recorded at 24-bit/96 kHz to preserve high-frequency detail for downstream Atmos and 7.1 spatial placement. Stage inventories include Mexican-specific surfaces. The list covers saltillo tile, talavera ceramic, adobe, cantera stone, colonial wood-beam interiors, mercado tile, pavement textures from CDMX, Yucatán, and Oaxaca shoots.
